Q. The Poona Pact which was signed between the British Government and Mahatma Gandhi in 1934 provided for

Exp. By Poona Pact, Dr. Ambedkar took back his separate electorate demand and agreed for joint electorate. By this Pact the 75 reserved seats were increased to 148 seats for Harijans.
